Seasonless approach: The Garment - ect.studio

The Garment adopts a seasonless approach to crafting timeless clothing. They focus on reinventing the perfect wardrobe for women who aspire to build a collection of classic and personal pieces that can be maintained and restyled across many seasons. Founded by Sophia Roe and Charlotte Eskildsen, The Garment draws inspiration from the unique aesthetic and minimalist principles of Scandinavian design, as well as Charlotte Eskildsen’s rich design heritage.

"Sustainability is about owning less by buying right." The Garment acknowledges that producing new garments is inherently unsustainable and does not claim otherwise. However, they are committed to understanding and reducing their environmental impact. For them, sustainability primarily means owning fewer items by making informed purchasing decisions.

Their daily mission is to create beautiful garments in a more responsible way. From the outset, The Garment joined 1% for the Planet, pledging to donate 1% of their annual sales to nonprofit organizations dedicated to protecting the planet, its ecosystems, and its wildlife. This commitment reflects their dedication to environmental stewardship.

Fall 2024 Collection

Charlotte Eskildsen described her fall Garment collection as “elevated” and “more adult,” featuring more dresses and party wear. The collection was showcased in the ballroom of Moltke’s Mansion, with HRH Princess Isabella in attendance. The elaborate decor and craftsmanship of the venue complemented Eskildsen's focus on quality. Now designing solo, Eskildsen's collection maintained a contemporary take on classics with a ’90s twist, featuring well-cut pants, elegant touches like long organza gloves, fun elements like chunky red knits, and nods to the '80s and current trends. Her main aim was “to dare a little more,” enhancing the quiet luxury look.
