We are thrilled to announce our partnership with I-AM-ESCAPE and the opening of the inaugural exhibition of the Artist Residency Reisenberg, featuring Isolation (Felswand), a groundbreaking installation by renowned artist Fabian Knecht. This event marks the beginning of an exciting annual program dedicated to contemporary art, nature, and creative exploration by I-AM-ESCAPE.

About the Artist
Fabian Knecht, born in Magdeburg in 1980, is an acclaimed Berlin-based artist whose work challenges traditional perceptions of art and its role in society. A master student of the internationally renowned artist Olafur Eliasson, Knecht has developed a unique practice that explores the interplay between nature and art. Since 2015, his Isolation series has brought immersive installations to remote landscapes, transforming natural environments into thought-provoking, temporary art spaces. His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues across Europe, continually pushing the boundaries of how we experience and interact with art.
The Residency
Located on a historic farm dating back to 1765, the Artist Residency Reisenberg is set amidst 700,000 square meters of pristine forest and meadows, perched on a hilltop in the Carinthian mountains. The residency provides a serene and inspiring environment for artists to explore and create, fostering a deep connection between art and nature.
