When running enjoyed great popularity in the 1970s, the benchmark for running shoes shifted from mere existence to performance. Even if the designs of that time would be considered simple by today's standards, this decade is the beginning of a new era of running shoes. The 327 makes the '70s appear as a time of innovation in a new light, by boldly redesigned classic design elements and provided with a thoroughly modern point of view. With an angular redesign of the proven wedge silhouette, an oversized, asymmetrically attached 'N' logo and a circumferential, trail-inspired stud sole, the 327 is nothing less than a complete reinterpretation of our running shoe tradition.
