Adolfo Domínguez presents IKIGAI,
its autumn-winter 2024 collection.
_______
The Japanese concept IKIGAI is the starting point of Adolfo Domínguez's autumn-winter 2024 collection, which will be showcased in a global fashion show in streaming on 27 June at 7pm (Spanish time) from Santiago de Chile. The event will be streamed on the brand's website and its profiles on the main social networks, as well as on Movistar+ (Spain) and Mega (Chile).
Adolfo Dominguez will showcase its fashion and perfume collections from the La Moneda cultural centre in Santiago de Chile, where it will create an immersive experience with artistic performances and music developed exclusively for the occasion. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the essence and innovation that defineAdolfo Dominguez, consolidating its presence and relevance in the Latin American market.
"Clothes matter. It is our second skin. Perfume is the trace we leave as we walk by. With each new collection, we explore our creativity and out contribution to society as a brand- why should we limit it to a privileged few in a room?" states Patricia Alonso, Corporate Director of Marketing and Communication at Adolfo Domínguez.
The Japanese concept Ikigai has been the starting point for Adolfo Domínguez's new artistic proposal for the autumn-winter 2024 season. As an invitation to go in search of life's purpose, the fashion brand presents a collection designed to liberate oneself. In the collection's preview, the designer brand collaborates with the model Laura Ponte. Ikigai has its origins in the Ágora Creative Laboratory, of which all the designers of the Adolfo Domínguez group form part. The result is a collection designed to be lived, with clothes created to make people understand that beauty and happiness lie in the little things.
Japanese culture, from which the Ikigai concept stems, is embodied in prints and signature pieces with no shortage of crumpled fabrics, ruffles and asymmetrical cuts. With relaxed silhouettes and volumes from the pattern, neutral tones contrast with bright colours that come together in light and versatile garments conceived to last beyond fashions.
The brand will also present its perfume collection at Casa Gaudi in Santiago de Chile. There, guests will be able to discover the Eaux de Parfum and Eau de Toilette Collection. Under the premise "a perfume is a scent and nothing more", Adolfo Domínguez creates unconventional scents using pure ingredients. Since its foray into perfumery more than 30 years ago, the brand has maintained a clear philosophy: to develop signature perfumes with a deep respect for nature. The brand collaborates with Puig, with whom it co-creates and markets its perfumes worldwide. Adolfo Domínguez has 360 points of sale in 24 countries.
